| First I painted the chassis.. |

| I painted the inner wheel black, so that it would seem black through the wheel holes. |

2007:
The rolling chassis is ready. I painted the leaf springs to flat black. |

2007:
I painted the inside and assembled. The bezels of the gauges are drybrushed chrome silver. |

| There were two big sink marks on both sides of the hood. I filled them with polyester putty and then sanded smooth. |

2007:
One last look at the inside before the roof is closed. |

| 17 February
2007:
Now was the turn of the camouflage paint. I drew the pattern on the computer and printed two templates, one for each color. Then I airbrushed the two tones in sequence. |
